Apple and Ginger Chaser

Ingredients

4 Granny Smith apples, halved

1 4-inch knob of ginger, unpeeled

Directions

1. Pass the apples and ginger through a juicer and discard the solids. Strain the juice through a fine strainer into a bowl and refrigerate until chilled. Serve in shot glasses as a bourbon chaser.
