Not feeling inspired by your usual dishes? Here's what's for dinner.

We love pie every day but especially this weekend. Saturday is Pi Day, the beloved arbitrary holiday of mathematicians and gourmands alike. And it's not just any Pi Day—2015 means we can venture further into the neverending number (3.1415926 . . .) for Super Pi Day. The truly dedicated will eat their pie at 9:26 (a.m. or p.m., the choice is yours), but no matter when you choose to join in, we've put together a well-rounded meal for you to celebrate the wonders of math with pie on pie on pie. On Pi Day.

① Appetizer: Frito Pie with Smoked Salmorejo
Frito pie is living proof that pie doesn't have to be sweet. It's a mash-up of seven-layer dip (chips included) and nachos, with chili thrown in for good measure, so hit the snack aisle and kick off the holiday in savory style.

② Main Course: Roasted Root Vegetable Potpie
A holiday that enables simultaneous consumption of pie and vegetables? We're all for it. Go big in your skillet or give everyone an individual pie by baking each one in a ramekin.
