Pantone's Color Of 2017

Here's how to add more green to your plate

The Pantone color of the year was just announced: It's Greenery.

The executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, explains to the New York Times, "This is the color of hopefulness, and of our connection to nature. It speaks to what we call the 're”words: regenerate, refresh, revitalize, renew. Every spring we enter a new cycle and new shoots come from the ground. It is something life affirming to look forward to."

Naturally, our thoughts turn to food and all our favorite green dishes. Here are 14 recipes we'll be eating to celebrate 2017 and all the greenery we'll be seeing.
