Not feeling inspired by your usual dishes? Here's what's for dinner.

In case you missed last night's MTV Video Music Awards, we're here to give you a rundown. Host Miley Cyrus sported more outfits than we could count, Taylor Swift's squad (and accolades) ran deep and Kanye West confused an acceptance speech with a presidential campaign announcement. It's a lot to chew on, so we put together this celeb-inspired meal to help you digest it all.

① Drink: Sparkling Pear Cocktail
When Dom Pérignon declared he was drinking the stars, perhaps he was inspired by the sequin-clad celebrities walking the red carpet. OK, maybe not, but we think this elegant glass of pear-laced bubbly is the perfect choice for a night of celebration.

② Main Course: Arctic Char with Basil Oil and Lentils
It's been four years since Kanye West elevated the simple phrase "fish fillet" to infamy, but he's probably never tried it with these satisfying garlic- and basil-scented lentils. Imma let you finish, but this is the best broiled seafood dish of all time.

③ Dessert: Bourbon Balls
Nicki Minaj kicked off the night by performing a medley of hits—which sadly did not include "Truffle Butter." These truffles may not contain butter, but they make up for it with a strong pour of bourbon.
