What's For Dinner: Fourth Of July Party Menu

Gear up for the long weekend with this patriotic menu

Not feeling inspired by your usual dishes? Here's what's for dinner.

We would be remiss to not provide you with a menu for the upcoming holiday weekend. Hit the stores early before they run out of staples—ahem, Martin's potato rolls—so you're ready to enjoy this Fourth of July spread. Refreshing punch, classic hamburgers and syrupy shave ice: This is a dinner that would make our forefathers proud.

① Drink: Beer Cassis

If you tell your guests what's in this punch (beer and Byrrh), you likely get blank stares. Instead, just tell them it has all the right ingredients to become their go-to drink of summer.

② Main Course: TT Burger with Macerated Onions and Secret Sauce

Keep it classic with a crowd-pleasing hamburger. We tested (and tested, and tested) until we found the perfect burger. It has three cuts of beef, upgraded toppings and a not-so-secret sauce that's equally delicious poured over fries. And with no grill required, you can get your burger on rain or shine.

③ Dessert: Red, White and Blue Shave Ice

Think outside of the fruit-decorated flag cake. And crank out this shave ice layered with homemade syrups—floral strawberry, cassis-laced blueberries and coconut milk-sweetened bananas.
