Amazon Prime Day 2017 Deals
These deals are even better than Black Friday
In case you've forgotten, today marks Amazon's third annual Prime Day super sale. (Actually, you probably haven't forgotten, since it's the one day you can unselfishly splurge on yourself and feel only half guilty about it.)
With deals that are expected to be even better than Black Friday and Cyber Monday—sans the Walmart-esque stampedes—it can admittedly be easy to spend two hours flipping through pages or products versus actually snagging deals. Here's your guide to navigating the online mega sale.
① This year, the rapid-fire flash sales portion of Prime Day we all love starts July 10 at 9 p.m. (EST) and ends Tuesday, meaning you have a full 30 hours to take advantage of deals. We'd suggest keeping both the Prime Day and Home & Kitchen pages bookmarked.
② New this year are exclusive deals that are available only to Amazon Echo owners. Simply ask, "Alexa, what are your deals" throughout the day (among a slew of other Prime Day commands).
③ Amazon is also promoting its Prime Now service, meaning you can refill your emergency stash of rosé wine in under two hours and for 25 to 30 percent off.
④ Forbes suggests keeping Amazon's mobile app handy, as it allows users to view upcoming deals 24 hours before they're live, in addition to tuning in Tuesday morning and afternoon when the best deals tend to go live.
⑤ We'll be highlighting the best kitchen deals throughout Prime Day, so keep checking back here for updates on our favorite gadgets, tools and appliances.
