Chicken Takes a Stand (Mixer)

Issue: You need to pull a bunch of chicken, stat, and shredding it with two forks just ain't gonna cut it.

Solution: Place poached or baked boneless chicken breasts and thighs into your stand mixer bowl, fit the paddle attachment, and crank it up to medium speed (between 4 and 6 on most machines). The paddle gently pulls the chicken apart into lovely, delicious shreds in less than a minute. Man, all of a sudden, we're craving tacos.

Tip: Make sure your chicken is slightly warm before attempting. Meat straight out of the fridge will be too firm and will resist shredding.
