The foodie in Ryan emerged in full force shortly after college when he worked in several NYC restaurants alongside passionate chefs who used top-tier ingredients to craft gorgeous dishes. Soon after leaving the bustling world of restaurants, he landed a writing job for "NYC Food 'n' Festivities" where he reviewed dozens of unique restaurants and bars throughout New York City. He joined Mashed in 2019 and loves bringing his passion for great eating to life through his writing.

Ryan holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
