Keyla has worked as a professional writer for ten years. She started as a regular contributor to Eater LA, highlighting restaurants and chefs throughout Los Angeles. After a Los Angeles hotel round-up piece, her love for travel writing began. Now, she writes for multiple publications (Travel + Leisure, Honest Cooking, Darling Mag, UPROXX) amplifying hotels, restaurants, and chefs worldwide. She joined Static Media as a contributor in 2023 and looks forward to writing about current popular cuisines, restaurants, chefs, and food trends within the culinary space.


Keyla earned her bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University, focusing on journalism with an emphasis on broadcast news and a minor in Spanish.
