Baking, Italian Cuisine, Paleo Cooking
  • Jessica's first memory was making pasta sauce ("gravy") from scratch, from whole tomatoes with her Italian grandmother.
  • She once made 18 types of cookies in one weekend for a holiday gathering (she has a large family!).
  • Jessica is hard of hearing, which has only heightened her sense of taste, flavoring, and styling.

Jessica is a professional recipe creator, food photographer, custom baker, and food writer based in Colorado. She is the lead recipe developer for The Paleo Diet, where she creates simple, elegant, and delicious recipes based on specific Paleo Diet guidelines. Jessica also art directs and photographs the meal preparation process and the finished dish. Not only that, but she's a food-focused freelance writer and the founder of a small baking business, Case Bakehouse, which creates fine baked goods, breads, and custom cakes for a curated client list, from French patisserie to gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan treats.

Jessica completed her undergraduate degree in fine arts from Saint Michael's College in Vermont, her masters degree in art education from Adelphi University, and her associates degree in graphic design from the Art Institute in Colorado.
