Impeccably fried pork cutlets and Japanese-inflected Italian pasta dishes are the two dining domains at this Downtown restaurant. The kitchen tackles both with aplomb, and the fryer work employed on the tonkatsu is especially skillful: The panko crust is one of the lightest and crunchiest around.
