The space that once was Charlotte Bistro on Miracle Mile has become Mesa. The menu still features dishes from chef Elida Villarroel's days in France. However, Villarroel also offers her interpretations of Venezuelan cuisine. Crisply fried tequeños (cheese sticks) and asado negro (roast eye of round) with red wine sauce are great dishes with which to start an investigation of the new menu.
