NoMad Pop-Up Bar In L.A.

Get a sneak peek of the acclaimed bar before it officially opens next year

Going out for a cocktail at the beginning of the workweek is usually a terrible idea, but when one of the world's most renowned bars is hosting a holiday-themed pop-up in your neighborhood, you make an exception.

New York's NoMad Bar (which grabbed the number three spot on this year's World's 50 Best list) is giving L.A. residents a sneak peek of its acclaimed cocktails before it officially opens inside The NoMad Hotel early next year. Drop by the Walker Inn in Koreatown on any Sunday, Monday or Tuesday over the next three weeks for the NoMad Holiday Spectacular. Seasonal drinks from bar director Leo Robitschek will include options like the Into the Woods, with Douglas fir liqueur and maple syrup, and the Nut King Cole, which includes dark rum, rye whiskey and roast chestnuts.

Consider this all a warm-up for the full experience in 2018, when Daniel Humm and Will Guidara (of New York's Eleven Madison Park fame) open shop on the West Coast for the first time.
