Napa Christmas Train
Whether you're ready or not, winter Christmas is coming. And though we haven't made it through October just yet, that hasn't stopped us from getting excited about gearing up for the holidays with whisky-filled ornaments, boozy advent calendars and, now, a wine train that travels all the way up to the North Pole (well, almost).
The Napa Valley's famed Wine Train is bringing back its yearly Santa Train, a one-and-a-half-hour journey that ferries passengers to the tip of the northern hemisphere—in this case, a decked-out Yountville train station doubling as Santa's workshop.
As they ride through the vineyards, passengers can take part in caroling St. Nick's greatest hits while sipping on hot cocoa and diving into freshly baked cookies. Though, of course, being a wine train, 21-and-over guests can break into a few bottles of the area's best vintages, while younger passengers (or just young-at-heart adults) can write letters to Santa.
The train rides from November 18 to December 29, with tickets starting at $39.
