Free Ice Cream At Davey's In Greenpoint

Go for the speculoos chocolate chip, stay for the salted caramel

On Tuesday, October 17, from 3 to 8 p.m., every New Yorker will get to hear those three little words, the ones we wait our whole lives for: free ice cream.

Davey's Ice Cream, one of the perennially top-rated ice cream shops in the city, is scooping the inaugural cones at a new Brooklyn location in Greenpoint—and it's celebrating with free scoops for all.

If you don't make it within the five-hour window, you can also order a pint (or a milkshake!) on UberEats, or stop by its other locations in the East Village, Williamsburg and Canal Street Market. Granted, it won't be free, but we strongly believe good ice cream is always worth the investment.
