Stuff Your Face During The NYC Marathon

Cheer on the runners and carbo-load for fun at the same time

Thousands of runners will swarm the streets this Sunday to run the New York City Marathon's 26.2-mile course through the city's five boroughs, starting at the Verrazano–Narrows Bridge on Staten Island and crossing the finish line by Tavern on the Green in Central Park.

If you're watching from the sidelines this year, there are plenty of festivities throughout the day—and don't let the fact that you're not running keep you from carbo-loading. Here are the best places to eat and drink near the marathon route as you cheer on the runners.
