How We Used The Samsung 4-Door Flex Refrigerator

How we used the Samsung Home Appliance 4-Door Flex™ Refrigerator to step up our sub game

Everyone needs a great picnic sandwich for the summer, and the elegantly designed, functional and smart Samsung Home Appliance 4-Door Flex™ Refrigerator helped us make our party-perfect club sub.

A modern stainless steel body and interior trim—with an anti-fingerprint coating that helps keep it looking clean—recessed handles with a brushed stainless look and chrome accents give it a refined design aesthetic. But it doesn't just look pretty, it's also energy efficient and spacious with 23 cubic feet of storage capacity—enough room to fit up to 23 bags of groceries! Translation: There was plenty of room for not only our everyday supplies, but all of our club sub ingredients (turkey, ham and more).

The Triple Cooling System features three evaporators for ultimate freshness, plus precise temperature and humidity controls in all three zones for optimal conditions that help keep perishable fruits and vegetables fresher, longer—key for the crisp, crunchy iceberg lettuce we sprinkled onto our sandwich.

The versatile, bottom-right zone can be a freezer or fridge—with four customizable temperature settings: Fridge at 41 degrees, chilled at 30 degrees, Soft Freeze at 23 degrees, and Frozen at -9 to 1 degree—maximizing fresh food storage space. In fact, when the Cool Select Plus compartment is used as a fridge, this refrigerator has the freshest food storage available in its class at 18.05 cubic feet. That meant extra room for our deli meat, herb mayo (which you can make up to three days ahead) and, of course, lots of wine. Because every good picnic has lots of wine.
