Rick's Julep, adapted from Boa Steakhouse West Hollywood
  • 3 to 4 large mint leaves, plus 1 mint sprig, for garnish
  • 3⁄4 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 1⁄2 ounces Maker's Mark bourbon
  • 1 1⁄2 ounces brewed LA Mill Moroccan mint tea, at room temperature Ice, cubes and crushed
  1. In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the mint leaves and simple syrup. Add the bourbon, tea and ice cubes and shake thoroughly. Fill a julep cup or highball glass with crushed ice. Strain the drink into the glass, garnish with the mint sprig and serve.
