Ingredients
- For the whipped cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- For the float
- 2 ounces whiskey, preferably Jack Daniels
- 1 bottle chilled root beer, like Sprecher
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions
- In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream with the sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- To make the float: Pour the whiskey into a tall glass. Fill the glass with root beer to just below the top. Spoon some of the whipped cream on top, drizzle with the bitters and serve.
