Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 thin slices of ginger
Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar with the water and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat, add the ginger slices and let steep for 7 minutes. Remove the ginger and reserve the syrup.
