Juloro, adapted from the Tasting Table Test Kitchen

Ingredients
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 bar spoons granulated sugar
  • 1 ounce club soda
  • 2½ ounces bourbon
  • Crushed ice
  • Lemon wedge
Directions
  1. In a Collins glass or julep cup, combine the thyme, sugar and soda. Use a bar spoon to muddle gently, until some of the sugar has dissolved. Add the bourbon and the crushed ice and stir until chilled. Garnish with the lemon wedge and serve.
