Party For A Good Cause At Burger Joint On 8/21

Party for a good cause with Tasting Table at the new Burger Joint

Hold the pretension. Hold the fancy-pants toppings.

We just want a damn good burger.

An honest dedication to a quality hamburger is why we love Burger Joint so. Now, with a recently opened Greenwich Village location joining the original Midtown outpost (made famous by its red velvet curtain), there's now twice as much Burger Joint to love.

On Wednesday, August 21, from 6 to 9 p.m., Tasting Table readers are invited to join the Tasting Table Team and Host Committee as we eat burgers and fries at Burger Joint to benefit the NYC Rescue Mission ($25; purchase tickets here).

We're passionate about lending a helping hand to our neighbors at the NYC Rescue Mission. Every Wednesday, two Tasting Table team members volunteer at the nearby Chinatown mission, preparing and serving lunch to Downtown dwellers. Now, you can help, too.

Entrance to the party includes one hour of all-you-can-drink beer, shooters, full open bar, a juicy burger, fries and milkshakes. Curated drinks will include a selection of craft beer, Picklebacks and Bloody Mary shooters.

It's a party you can really sink your teeth into.
