Marc Vetri Of Philadelphia Comes To Tasting Table

Join Tasting Table for an exclusive dinner with the chefs of Vetri

If you've considered visiting Philadelphia to dine at Vetri, we have good news: The City of Brotherly love is sending its best to Manhattan, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Marc Vetri–the James Beard Award-winning chef-owner of Vetri, Osteria, Amis and Alla Spina–is coming to our New York City Test Kitchen, along with his chef de cuisine, Adam Leonti, who was featured in Tasting Table's Sous Chef Series. Leonti started working for Vetri for free on his days off in 2008; their seamless teamwork and simple techniques result in some of the country's best Italian food.

Now you can experience Vetri's current menu in Tasting Table's Soho Test Kitchen & Dining Room: As part of our 2013 Guest Chefs Program, the chefs will cook an intimate dinner party for only 30 guests, on Tuesday, September 10, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. ($200 plus tax; purchase tickets here).

The dinner will begin with cocktails and passed canapés such as foie gras pastrami, followed by a four-course meal, including roasted leg of lamb with porcini, along with wine pairings and after-dinner drinks. See the full menu here.

The chefs will walk guests through each course, and conduct a Q&A session at the end of the meal. Plus, you'll leave with a special parting gift from Vetri and Leonti.
