Join Tasting Table For 'Cue Up Summer Party
We're throwing a summer spread of epic proportions
It's our party, and we'll eat fried chicken and BBQ if we want to.
Join us on Thursday, July 25, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Nolita at the Elizabeth Street Garden for Tasting Table's summertime feast, 'Cue Up Summer ($70 plus tax; purchase a ticket here).
We're pulling our favorite foods from around the city to create a dream-sequence picnic scenario (see the full menu here).
Delaney Barbecue will be there with beef brisket, sweet-and-smoky pork ribs and giant beef ribs.
Bobwhite Lunch & Supper Counter will represent with piles of cold fried chicken and stacks of pimento cheese sandwiches.
The Tasting Table Test Kitchen and TABASCO® will serve summer bites such as heirloom tomato gazpacho with ricotta salata.
And to sweeten the deal, Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery will come armed with insanely good chocolate chip cookies, Melt Bakery will dish out S'most and Cinnamax ice cream sandwiches, and Imperial Woodpecker Sno-Balls will be on icy, frozen confection duty.
Unlimited Goose Island brews, Santa Margherita wines and cocktails from Hendrick's Gin and Monkey Shoulder whiskey will keep everyone cool, and lawn games and The Defibulators' bluegrass tunes will keep things hopping.
