Tasting Table's NYC Food Fight Event
Tasting Table brings 10 delicious duels to life
It's time to let your stomach be heard.
On Tuesday, December 11, you'll have the opportunity to weigh in on the great gastronomic battles of our time when Tasting Table presents its first-ever Food Fight event.
Ten culinary cage matches will be brought to life at Powerhouse Arena in Dumbo so you can determine once and for all: Is a Num Pang banh mi better than a meatball slider from The Meatball Shop? Does Van Leeuwen's ice cream trump a scoop of gelato from Il Laboratorio del Gelato?
Sample and vote for your favorite oysters from The Lobster Place, determine whether El Toro Blanco's soft or crispy tacos reign supreme and let Dough know if glazed doughnuts are better than filled. There will also be cheese conflicts, brunch and barbecue battles, and chocolate chip cookie challenges that require your expert palate (and your vote).
Your ticket gets you access to all the tasting stations and the open bar, which will feature holiday-inspired cocktails, beer and wine to aid your delicious decisions. Twenty percent of the ticket sales will be donated to Food Bank For New York City.
