We've all been there. You're desperately in need of a glass of wine, but don't feel like making the pilgrimage to the store.

Thanks to a new service from Rewinery, a preselected trio of discounted, high-quality wines is now available for delivery to your home, office, or even a picnic blanket in Dolores Park.

For a flat fee of $40 you receive three 750 ml bottles, each featuring a different grape, delivered to you via bike messenger in less than an hour. Selections change monthly: This month, the three-pack includes a Chardonnay, a Meritage and a Pinot Noir, all from California.

Rewinery's service rolls until 2 a.m. daily within San Francisco, and you can order by phone, on Rewinery's website or via the company's app. (Plans to cruise into other cities are in the works.)

The messenger checks your ID at the door and accepts cash or credit cards. The hand-off takes about a minute, and your receipt is emailed to you. Not happy with one of the wines you received? Rewinery guarantees it will replace the bottle for free.
