Swanky new restaurant Lost Society draws as many fans for its pulsing scene as for its menu of juicy steaks.

So we asked the lounge's resident DJs, Chris Burns and Gavin Holland, to share their picks for a soundtrack sure to lift any party to a restaurant-quality affair.

"Get a Move On" by Mr. Scruff: Holland kicks off the night with whimsical jazz. "It signals to the crowd, 'I'm here to party, but I'm not gonna beat you over the head with it.'"

"You've Got the Love" by Florence and the Machine: This epic anthem sets a strong note. Burns remixed this song himself, giving it a big bass line and soaring vocals.

"Can't Leave You" by Maceo Plex: A slick bass line, catchy disco guitars and alluring vocals make this one of Holland's favorites for a dark, sexy house number.

"Midnight City" by M83: Holland deems this favorite for his own home the "song of the year."

"Return To Tropicana" by Just Kiddin: Holland waits until drinks are flowing before he turns to this horn-focused Latin number. "I keep expecting Carmen Miranda to show up with a hat full of fruit," he says.

"Caracoles" by Franky Rizardo: Before the ball drops, play this hard-hitting ethno-folk piece, which Burns loves for its percussive, tribal element.
