Tasting Table Is Hiring Writers!
Are you passionate about food, whether eating it, reading about it, or talking about it? Tasting Table is looking for talented freelance writers to join our ever-growing team. If food's your game, you can get paid to explain it to millions of readers.
What You'll Do
Tasting Table creates both short- and long-form content, from a few hundred words on the latest Trader Joe's release to thousands on the best restaurants in every state. We cover cooking tips, wine and spirits, the latest and greatest in fast food and grocery, and more.
This is a fully remote position that provides steady, reliable work. As a writer, you are not required to pitch all your stories; we regularly post stories for our writers to claim, providing a level of consistency not often seen in freelance work. (That said, we absolutely welcome creative and thoughtful article pitches from our staff.) It's no wonder that many of our writers have been with us for years. We're all about collaboration at Tasting Table. Our editors will provide considerate, constructive feedback to ensure that your articles are the best they can be. Your work will be seen by millions of readers across our website and multiple syndication platforms.
What To Expect If You Apply
Accepted applicants will write a paid trial article, and if it meets our criteria, you'll receive paid training as well. We offer both hourly and per-word rates, paying $21 to $25 per hour or $0.08 to $0.10 per word, depending on qualifications.
