14 Best Quick Service Restaurants At Walt Disney World, Ranked

When planning a Walt Disney World vacation, there are an incredible number of factors to consider. Aside from choosing which days you will head to the theme parks and which days you will spend at your hotel pool, you'll also need to decide where to eat.

And while there is a slew of great restaurants at Walt Disney World, not all of them will suit your purposes. Within the resort, you can find both sit-down, signature dining spots with hefty price tags, and restaurants offering food at a more reasonable price point. These spots are often called quick-service restaurants. Rather than being waited at your table, you will order your food and bring it to your table. Don't let the designation quick service fool you. These restaurants are anything but your typical fast food fare. In fact, some of our favorite meals don't come from signature restaurants; they come from the quick service stops around the resort.

14. Columbia Harbour House

When it comes to picking a good spot for lunch or dinner at the Magic Kingdom, one of your primary wishes may be to step out of the crowds for a little bit. If that's the case, the Columbia Harbor House is an excellent choice.

This quick-service restaurant offers fish meals right in the middle of the Magic Kingdom. Inside, the dining area is decked out in relics from ships and is full of dark wood. Not to mention, the upstairs dining hall is almost always less busy than the bottom level, so you'll be able to capture a bit of peace during your meal.

Though the Columbia Harbor House certainly specializes in fish, you can also find options suitable for those not as fond of our scaly friends. For example, those looking to avoid meat can enjoy The Doom Burger. This plant-based sandwich is quite distinctive because it has a black bun, but inside, you'll enjoy a plant-based crab cake. It also gets some slices of red onion and cabbage slaw. And while we enjoy The Doom Burger, our favorite option at the Columbia Harbor House is the lobster roll. This classic New England sandwich has chilled Lobster mixed with mayonnaise inside of a bun. It's a solid quick-service option.

13. Capt. Cook's

When people think about choosing great dining around Disney World, they often forget about the resorts all around the property. These fabulous hotels offer beautiful views and even better food. For a quick bite at the Polynesian Village Resort, we love visiting Capt. Cook's. You'll find this quick-service spot on the main floor just beyond the gift shop but before Trader Sam's.

If you visit in the morning, you can't do better than the classic Tonga Toast. This delicious helping of French toast is stuffed with bananas and covered with delicious cinnamon sugar. For lunch and dinner, we are big fans of Pan Asian Noodles and vegetables. You'll get tender veggies all wrapped up in some tasty noodles, but if you are looking for something a little heavier, there is also an Aloha Pork Sandwich that features Hawaiian pulled pork topped with cheddar, Asian slaw, and veggies.

Though the inside seating is nice, we highly recommend taking your food outside to some patio chairs. You'll have a beautiful view of the Polynesian-themed resort, as well as a distant view of Cinderella's Castle. We didn't rank this spot higher because we know that not everyone is looking to travel to a resort just for a quick meal.

12. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory

The deluxe, expensive resorts at Disney World are not the only ones with great quick service offerings. Over at the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort, you can visit the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. This quick service feels like more of a food court than some other options, but it definitely offers some tasty choices.

For one, we really enjoy the Chicken Parmesan Pasta. This basic, but nevertheless delicious, pasta dish includes a hefty helping of penne pasta with your choice of an Alfredo or marinara sauce over the top. Then, a nice breaded chicken breast sits on top of that sauce with melted provolone. Of course, a New Orleans-themed resort wouldn't be complete without a Jambalaya and Gumbo offering; both are which are delicious.

Perhaps the best part of this quick service is its proximity to Mickey beignets. At Scat Cat's Club Café, you can order and enjoy beignets that are shaped like Mickey's head. Often, this little stop has specialty beignets with little pipettes filled with alcohol to bring those beignets to new heights. If your little one needs to get out a little energy, there is also an excellent playground just down the way from the restaurant. This is a great stop for everyone and is often pretty quiet.

11. Casey's Corner

Few quick-service restaurants are more iconic than Casey's Corner. This baseball-themed restaurant sits right on the corner of Main Street and has tasty theme park fare with a gorgeous view of the castle.

Though new items come and go from the menu, you can count on digging into a chili dog, a traditional hot dog, or even a plant-based dog. And while we love a delicious hot dog, our favorite choice at Casey's Corner is the Corn Dog Nuggets. Be sure to order them with a side of dipping cheese for all that delicious, cheesy nostalgia. And if that's not enough cheese for you, you can also order a side of Chili Cheese Fries. Be sure to grab a fork, though, as they are pretty messy to eat.

The downfall of Casey's is that it can be swamped, so you may need to be patient in choosing your location to sit down and eat. Be prepared to walk to another part of the park for a separate dining area to settle down and enjoy your meal. To avoid this rush, consider stopping at Casey's at a slightly off-peak mealtime to enjoy your meal. For example, get lunch at 11 a.m. rather than at noon.

10. ABC Commissary

For an excellent spot to take a break from the heat and enjoy a delicious meal on your day at Hollywood Studios, check out The ABC Commissary. The menu has something for everyone in the family and features favorites such as the California Burger, Southwest Salad, and Mediterranean Salad, as well as a range of entrées like shrimp tacos and chicken clubs. Plus, the location on this one couldn't be better. It's situated right between the main Hollywood area of the park and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, so it's the perfect place to spot and grab a bite between rides.

Our go-to option here is the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich with french fries. This sandwich is filled with gooey, melted cheese and spicy buffalo chicken. It's the perfect combination of flavors and textures and is sure to satisfy your taste buds. Plus, it's hearty and will definitely satisfy you through long lines until dinner time.

9. Sommerfest

Sommerfest is a delightful quick-service spot located in Germany at Epcot. You'll find it behind the clock in the back of the pavilion. Despite the limited menu, what it does offer it does incredibly well, and we frequently find ourselves stopping here.

The bratwurst at Sommerfest is excellent, and the paprika chips it comes with are outstanding and have a delicious spin on the classic potato chip. Plus, if you're in the mood for something sweet, the pretzel bread pudding is a must-try. This tasty take on the classic bread pudding is a favorite of many Disney World visitors. It's rich, indulgent, and incredibly satisfying.

Please note that Sommerfest is essentially just a window you'll walk up to order and retrieve your food. There isn't necessarily designated seating, but nearby you will find tables and places to settle to eat your food. Mostly, we enjoy ordering our food and then walking around the World Showcase while enjoying the bratwurst.

8. Connections Eatery

Connections Eatery is the newest quick-service dining option at Epcot located in the heart of the park. This spacious restaurant boasts beautiful murals on the walls that depict the history and culture of food preparation from around the world. We love staring at them and following the story they depict.

In addition to the incredible amount of seating here, we are continuously impressed with the food. We, for example, love the French Bistro Burger, which includes beautifully caramelized onions, brie, bacon, Dijon mustard, and a perfect brioche bun. Plus, in the condiment area, you'll also find a zesty sauce that pairs perfectly with the steak fries.

If you're in the mood for a coffee or a sweet treat, you'll find Epcot's Starbucks location on the other side of the Eatery at the Connections Cafe. You can grab a refreshing iced coffee or a decadent pastry to enjoy with your meal or on the go as you enjoy the rest of your day.

7. Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is a popular dining spot in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios. Designed to look like a docking and delivery station, the theming of this restaurant is spot-on and fits perfectly with the rest of the immersive land.

One of the main draws of Docking Bay 7 is its menu, which features a variety of interestingly named food items that are both delicious and approachable. Among our favorite dishes is the Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs with a tangy sauce. We love this one for its tender meat and rich flavor.

For those looking for a plant-based option, the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread is a great choice. This dish features plant-based meatballs and a delicious relish; all served with a flavorful hummus spread. Despite being plant-based, the dish is both satisfying and light, making it a hit with guests of all dietary preferences.

6. Chicken Guy!

If you're looking for some quick and delicious food in the Disney Springs shopping and dining district, you should definitely check out Chicken Guy! This quick-service restaurant, from the imagination of celebrity chef Guy Fieri, is known for its juicy and flavorful chicken tenders, but we keep coming back for the sauces.

The variety of sauces available at Chicken Guy! just take the whole dining experience and make it into something special. We recommend having each person in your party choose different sauces so you can compare the delicious flavors. In addition to the classic ketchup and barbecue sauces, you can also try more creative options like the Curry Mango sauce, which features a blend of spices and lime juice.

Originally, seating at Chicken Guy! was limited due to its popularity, but the restaurant has expanded to accommodate more guests. Chicken Guy! offers a perfectly quick and delicious meal in Disney Springs, and it's certainly our pick for the best quick-service chicken at Walt Disney World.

5. The Friar's Nook

The Friar's Nook is in the heart of the Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland, nearby Seven Dwarf's Mine Train roller coaster. This quaint little spot is easy to walk right by, but it's one of our favorite places to grab lunch on a busy park day. Plus, it's centrally located and near several attractions.

Despite not being a traditional sit-down restaurant, The Friar's Nook offers a range of delicious dishes perfect for even the pickiest eaters. Of all the offerings, one dish stands out as a must-try: the Creamy Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Tots. This hearty meal features a base of creamy macaroni and cheese, topped with crispy tots, delectable bacon pieces, and a dollop of tangy sour cream. We find this one simply irresistible, and it's no surprise that this one delights adults and children alike. If you're there for breakfast, you can also enjoy tots with sausage gravy. It's unexpectedly delicious.

While The Friar's Nook doesn't offer indoor seating, there are plenty of tables and chairs outside of the windows, where you can enjoy your meal while taking in the sights and sounds of Fantasyland. Stop here for a quick lunch or even a later snack; either way, you'll love the classic, delicious offerings. Plus, if you have a kiddo who only eats fruit and macaroni and cheese, they'll love the offerings here. It's easily one of the best quick service options in the Magic Kingdom for little ones.

4. BoardWalk Deli

On the boardwalk around the resort sporting the same name, you'll find The BoardWalk Deli. We love this quick service spot for lunch, but admittedly, breakfast is even better. For lunch, we recommend the classic Reuben or even a Chicken and Walnut Salad Wrap. But while these are delicious, the breakfast options top them, and it's a great place to grab a bite to eat before heading into Epcot or Hollywood Studios, both of which aren't far from the deli. You can take the Skyliner or even the walking path to find this tasty spot.

For breakfast, we enjoy the Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwich, featuring plant-based eggs Florentine. Another breakfast standout is the Everything Bagel with Smoked Salmon. This sandwich is a unique take on the classic bagel and cream cheese breakfast and is an ideal option for those who are looking for something a bit different. That caper-onion cream cheese is salty, tasty, and perfectly suited for smoked salmon.

3. Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Just off the shores of World Showcase Lagoon, you can dine on the most classic of dishes from the United Kingdom: Fish and Chips. Yorkshire County Fish Shop offers a relaxing vista with plenty of chairs and tables at which to enjoy your meal. With quite a limited menu, your options are few, but they don't need to be substantial because the meal is excellent.

Come hungry because you'll leave full. These portions are pretty generous with big pieces of fried fish. Along the sides of the shop, you'll also find plenty of tartar sauce, lemon, and vinegar available if you want to add even more zing to your fish and chips.

When we visited on occasion, we also found that this quick service sometimes has Chicken and Mushroom Pie. Though outstanding, with a moist filling and flakey crust, the pie is not always listed on the menu. We recommend checking with the cast members when placing your order to see if any pies are available.

2. Primo Piatto

One of our favorite quick services at Disney World is located at the Riviera Resort. It's also very easy to get to from Epcot or Hollywood Studios. Like the Boardwalk, you can get there using the Skyliner, and since the Skyliner goes directly to The Riviera, it's even easier to access than the BoardWalk Deli.

While some quick-service restaurants feature menu items that shine only at breakfast or dinner, Primo Piatto is a fabulous stop no matter the time of day. For breakfast, we are obsessed with the Cinnamon Crumble 'French Toast' Bread Pudding. It comes with a side of vanilla custard that you pour right over the top, making this breakfast seem more like a dessert. The sausages for breakfast are also very good here and not like your typical breakfast sausage. For dinner, the Croque Monsieur is unbeatable. It's an upgraded, ultra-cheesy ham and cheese toasted sandwich featuring a delicious béchamel sauce. What's more, the Parmesan Herb Fries on the side make this a dinner that we dream about. For a breakfast option similar to the Croque Monsieur, you can get a Croque Madame, which is nearly the same sandwich but with an egg on top.

As if the food weren't fabulous enough, the views at The Riviera are also breathtaking. The ambiance is pretty great, too. Instead of playing Disney songs in English, The Riviera Resort has classic Disney tunes in French and Italian drifting through the halls and outside.

1. Satu'li Canteen

For a dining experience different from what you might expect from the middle of a theme park, the Satu'li Canteen is the perfect option. Deep in the Valley of Mo'ara at the Animal Kingdom, you will find this delicious spot with plenty of unique options.

Once inside, you will find a perfectly themed and decorated space that feels far from a theme park. There's also a fair amount of sitting here, both inside and outside. As you walk in, be sure not to move too quickly; otherwise, you will miss watching some of the meat cooking right in front of you. Satu'li Canteen is so incredibly unique with delicious dining options and beautiful theming that it really sets this quick service apart from others in this category.

For options, we highly recommend one of the bowls. You have a choice of several different kinds of meat, including breaded tofu, shrimp, chicken, and beef. Plus, you get to choose your base. We quite like the noodles, and the rice is also outstanding. In addition to selecting those customizations, you'll also choose a sauce for your meal. For something with fewer choices, consider getting the Cheeseburger Pods. These fluffy bao buns are stuffed with all kinds of meaty goodness, tasting just like a cheeseburger you might get at your favorite burger spot. How the flavor is so identical feels a little magical, to be honest.
