Nicole was first published at the age of 13, writing regularly for a Boston-based newspaper for teenagers. In 2009, she made writing her full-time career, later expanding her roles to editor, cartoonist, graphic designer, and web designer. Nicole's journey of food writing has taken her on a delectable tour through various cuisines, lifestyle diets, and culinary trends. She's written for numerous sites and publications in styles ranging from journalism to how-to's, including Livestrong, Examiner, CBS, Everyday Health, and eHow.

Nicole received her Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in health and nutrition.
