  • Rebecca Riddle is a writer, server, and hospitality enthusiast who’s been working in various FOH positions for the past seven years. As a freelance food and beverage writer, she’s on a mission to combine her love of words and writing with her passion for the restaurant industry.
  • From her start as the Dining Editor at NYU's student newspaper, Rebecca has since dedicated her entire freelance career to writing about food, cocktails, and restaurants.
  • Rebecca has covered multiple facets of the culinary world including the food technology space, issues impacting hospitality workers, delicious recipe round-ups, and chef biographies.


As a veteran server and bartender, Rebecca has been working in the world of New York City restaurants for her entire adult life — so she knows the food and beverage industry inside and out. She's developed marketing materials for a real estate developer's restaurant space portfolio, gained a roster of freelance clients that range from point of sales companies to restaurant delivery services, and worked as a Contributing Editor for Culinary Epicenter. Rebecca also dabbles in creative food writing, and has had her narrative work published in Broken Glass BK Magazine.


Rebecca received her Bachelor's Degree from New York University where she majored in Politics. She then went on to earn her Master's in International Educational Development with a concentration in Language, Literacy, and Culture from Teachers College, Columbia University.
