Experience
Across an eclectic career, Brittany always finds herself returning to her love of learning and writing about food. She began writing professionally as a restaurant reviewer before joining Travelhost Orlando where she provided editorial and photography covering local restaurants and foodie events. As a freelancer for digital outlets including DisDining and Undercover Tourist, Brittany reported on theme park food, festivals, and other special events at Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld Orlando before expanding her work to include cooking tips, product reviews, and creative kitchen hacks in the online magazines of Cozymeal and Classpop. A fervent fan of books and movies, Brittany loves exploring food in pop culture and discovering unique regional dishes from around the globe. Acknowledging the essential role of food in our everyday lives, Brittany continues working to broaden her knowledge of the impact of food choices and systems on culture and climate.
Education
Brittany graduated from Marshall University with bachelor's degrees in English and Psychology specializing in creative writing. She earned her master's degree in communication from the University of Central Florida with an emphasis in interpersonal communication focusing on shared food experiences.
