Experience
Originally from the mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona, Mikayla began her writing career as a journalist in 2018, covering Zion National Park, public health, and human interest stories for St. George News. She spent several years writing and exploring the craft brewery scene of the American Southwest before moving to Orlando, Florida, where she joined the Tasting Table team in 2023. In addition to writing about all things culinary, she works as a content writer for Vedder Nation, where she shares her passion for women's self-defense.
Education
Mikayla has a bachelor's degree in strategic communication from Northern Arizona University.
