A Rainbow Latte That’s Almost Too Pretty to Drink

Superfoods unite in this spring special from NYC’s The Good Sort

Vegan lattes, rainbow foods, turmeric in everything: These are some of 2017's major food trends, and now they’re coming together in a stunning vegan, rainbow, iced latte from The Good Sort in Chinatown. The Good Sort, which opened in January of 2017, is debuting this new beverage just in time for the first day of spring.

How’s it made? First, beetroot and agave are mixed with oat milk, then a turmeric spice blend is infused with almond milk and, finally, blue algae are blended with coconut milk. The three mixtures are then poured in layers, creating the absolute most beautiful latte in town.

But rest assured, this latte is more than just foam-deep. Its diverse flavors and creamy texture make it taste like a milkshake, and the use of nut milks and superfoods leave you feeling energized and refreshed.
