  • Sarah once got to yell "STOP THE PRESSES" at her newspaper job due to a misspelled headline (not hers); it was just as exhilarating as she thought it'd be.
  • She once wrote a definitive article on the best tacos in North Carolina for Food Network Magazine.
  • After her stint reviewing restaurants for Charlotte Magazine, several of her friends refused to have her over for dinner for fear she'd judge their dishes.

Sarah has worked as a professional writer since 2010. Her first job was as a newspaper designer and copyeditor, at which time she also began freelance writing for regional magazines like Blue Ridge Outdoors. She was a regular contributing writer for Betches and Betches Media from 2014 to 2023, covering everything from food to horoscopes to fashion. She was a food writer in Charlotte, NC, for Charlotte Magazine from 2012 to 2015, focusing on the city's thriving restaurant scene. Her articles have also appeared in Food Network Magazine, Wine Country Magazine, and Mountain Xpress. She joined Static Media as a contributing writer in 2023 and has been putting her obsession with food at the forefront of her articles.

Sarah has her bachelor's degree in journalism from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.
