Her experience as a writer began when she joined a newspaper club in middle school. Since then, she's studied and prepared herself to become a professional writer. Melody has written multiple articles within the food category for her campus newspaper, The Recorder. She has also written for other publications including the New York City Daily Post and CT Public Media/NENC.
Education
Melody's education at Central Connecticut State University has especially helped strengthen her writing skills by going over the importance of AP Style and the Journalism Code of Ethics. Throughout the four years she attended the university before graduating in May of this year with a B.A. in Journalism, Melody has learned to write for print, digital, broadcast, and social media.
