Lauren is a professional freelance writer, editor, and content strategist who works across several lifestyle verticals, including food, design, and travel. She started her career as a freelance writer for StyleBlueprint, a regional lifestyle publication, before joining Meredith Corporation as part of their fellowship program. After three and a half years of working for brands like Cooking Light, EatingWell, and VERANDA, she decided to freelance in order to best pursue her passions: food, wine, luxury travel, and interior design. She also runs a Substack that is dedicated to making cooking and nourishing oneself more enjoyable and empowering.


Lauren has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with minors in Food & Nutrition and English from The University of Alabama.
