Starbucks Officially Announced Its Fall 2022 Menu. Here's What To Know

Our speculations have been confirmed — Starbucks has dropped their fall menu and the lineup looks promising. Featuring a range of festive autumn offerings, there's a focus on warm spices, comforting fare, and beloved cult classics.

Starting on August 30, Starbucks will be bringing back the Pumpkin Spice Latte for the 19th year in a row. Made with a shot of espresso, steamed milk, and a soul-warming spice blend of pumpkin, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg, the drink isn't complete without a dollop of whip cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice. Affectionately known as the PSL, the beverage has become a seasonal vice for many, but it's not a sheer coincidence that Starbucks has seen success with the autumnal coffee creation. The reason why the Pumpkin Spice Latte is so craveable is rooted in the nostalgic recollections of pumpkin pies during the holiday season, reports Live Science, which of course appeals highly to the senses and provides a generous dose of comfort.

Delivering more of the gourd's goodness, Starbucks has also announced the return of a few more favorites along with some creations that you're not going to want to miss.

Pumpkin spice and everything nice

If you're pumped for pumpkin, then you'll be happy to know that the sweet squash is featured in fan favorites like the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, along with bakery goodies like the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin or Pumpkin Scone (via Starbucks) — and don't forget about the trusty and always tasty, Pumpkin Loaf.

Not a fan of pumpkin? Along with the debut of an adorable Owl Cake Pop, the coffee chain also announced that the Apple Crisp Macchiato will be making an appearance again — but this time with a twist. Appealing to the ever-increasing sector of non-dairy drinkers (via Business Wire), the beverage will now be made with velvety oat milk and Starbucks Blonde Espresso, but still boast layers of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar flavors, along with its classic spiced apple drizzle.

Aside from drinks and pastries, Starbucks fans can also expect to see thematic merchandise for fall. But that won't be the only brand new thing that's lining store shelves. The brand will also be debuting their redesigned packages of whole bean coffee that are inspired by the coffee's origins.
