This Limited Edition Bottle From Panera Has A Useful Feature

If you're part of the 25% of workers that experience the summer slump phenomenon on June 21, the longest day of the year, you'll definitely want to hear about Panera's Charged Up Cup. According to a press release, this limited edition cup is being released due to the popularity of the Charged Lemonades that the bakery chain launched this past spring. The Charged Lemonades contain Guarana and green coffee extract, making their caffeine content comparable to that of a 20-ounce Panera Dark Roast Coffee.

Panera is offering customers yet another way to power up with its Charged Up Cup. Not only can it hold 17 ounces of Charged Lemonade, it also has a removable cordless charging base built right in. That means you can keep both your phone and yourself charged up on the go. "We wanted to find the perfect way to give our customers an extra charge ahead of the longest day of the year," Panera Vice President of Brand Building, Drayton Martin, explained in the press release.

How to get the Panera Charged Up Cup

Panera's Unlimited Sip Club may be available to anyone who pays the $10.99 (plus tax) monthly subscription, but only 480 people will be able to get their hands on a Charged Up Cup because it's not actually for sale at Panera restaurants. Instead, starting on June 15, Panera guests can head to PaneraChargedUp.com and try their luck at being one of the 480. Simply enter your name and contact info on the page, and you're entered to win — it's that easy. In addition to the Charged Up Cup, winners will also receive a $10 Panera gift card.

The giveaway is open to customers nationwide, but as stated on the website, winners who live in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and St. Louis will be hand delivered their Charged Up Cup and gift card on June 21, known as the longest day of the year. Just make sure to enter before 11:59 p.m. est on June 20 if you want a chance to win.
