Sugarfina's Champagne Bears Are Getting A Fruity Summer Refresh
Candy fans are in for a bubbly summer. Fans of this sweet gourmet brand may remember its red velvet chocolate hearts released earlier this year for Valentine's Day. Now, the gourmet-gummy company is back with another luxury candy just in time for sunny summer sippin' — or, in this case, chewing.
In a recent press release, Sugarfina announced the launch of its new gourmet gummy bear flavor, and it promises to have palates sparkling. Introducing: Strawberry Champagne Bears made with Dom Pérignon Vintage Champagne. The candy is not just for cocktails and clinking flutes. According to the press release, the Strawberry Champagne Bears will be available in small and large party cubes or packaged in the promotional "Celebration Bottle" shape. Unlike snacks like Haribo Bears or Sour Patch Kids, a typical "party pack" of six candy boxes runs for $53.70 on Sugarfina's website. Talk about a celebration to remember.

Sugarfina has yet to announce an official release date for the new Strawberry Champagne Bears. But, per the press release, bubbly fans can join the waitlist to be notified as soon as the new product hits the market — and, judging by past product launches from the gourmet gummies brand, time is of the essence. When Sugarfina's rosé bears were first released in 2016, they sold out in less than two hours, according to the press release.
If you don't prefer seeing your wine through rose-colored glasses, Sugarfina also has a boozy bear collaboration with hard seltzer brand TRULY. But the champagne bears are by far Sugarfina's best-selling product. Company CEO Scott LaPorta says customers begin asking for restocks within minutes after the bears sell out time and time again, via the press release. Bubbly fans and candy-crazed consumers alike will have to judge for themselves whether this new strawberry summer sweet is worth the price tag — once the bears become available, that is.
