Recap: Episode 3 Of 'Martha And Snoop'

The recap series you never asked for, but we're giving it to you anyway

Hello, loyal Snartha fans (or should we call you Moopers?), and welcome to another recap of the ever-beautiful Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party. This week, the show brings the holiday cheer with a warm and inviting Thanksgiving episode, complete with ball jokes, weed pies and a lot of inappropriate butter rubbing. So let's get into it. Here are the most important takeaways from episode three.

① Martha takes Thanksgiving very seriously. As she says, "If you don't like the way I make my turkey, don't let the door hit your ass on your way out of Martha Stewart's house."

Also, Martha makes an impeccable turkey gobble sound.

② Martha decides to use large ice balls in her apple bourbon cocktails, and the immature giggling and ball puns just won't quit. "So, do you keep these balls in your hand, or do you put these balls in your mouth?" Snoop asks. "You can try whatever you want," Martha replies.

③ This week's special guests are rapper 2 Chainz and Glee's Naya Rivera. Rivera brings turkey hats for all, and thank goodness she does (see above photo). They're later joined by NBA player Chris Bosh, making this gathering unlike any Thanksgiving dinner you've ever experienced or will experience.

④ Martha rubs butter all over her turkey before roasting. The scene is undercut by cheesy music and Snoop egging her on, as Martha shouts, "This feels really good," and "Mama Martha's in control." It's one of the more offensive things I've seen on television in my lifetime. No one should have to hear Martha talk this much about breasts and thighs with 2 Chainz. No one.

⑤ There are live turkeys in an enclosure on stage, and Snoop is really into them.

When everyone sits down to the table for a Thanksgiving feast, the scene really makes you remember what the holidays are all about: contemplating what in your life has led you to this place and drinking your way through awkward conversations.
