Union Square Cafe's Carmen Quagliata's Favorite Go-To's
New York's restaurant scene is down one of its great restaurants at the moment: In December, Union Square Cafe's team packed up all of its pots, pans, plates and, of course, bottles of wine for its move across a few blocks away to its new home on 19th and Park.
The restaurant's slated to make its return sometime in the coming months, but until then, we could all use some recommendations for where else to eat in the meantime. So we asked Carmen Quagliata, Union Square Cafe's executive chef, where he goes when he's not in the kitchen. He shared his picks with us in our DINE by Tasting Table app.
