Topo Chico Launches Aguas Frescas Hard Seltzers In Time For Summer

According to a press release, beloved sparkling mineral beverage brand Topo Chico has launched a new line of hard seltzers called Aguas Frescas — a refreshing new four-flavor variety pack just in time for summer. These bold fruity flavors are inspired by traditional non-alcoholic aguas frescas, which are beverages made of fruit that is blended with lime, water, and sweetener. You can typically find traditional aguas frescas in taquerias or street markets.

Topo Chico's latest release includes Passionfruit Mango, Citrus Tamarind, Ripe Watermelon, and Hibiscus Lime, which are all perfect for warm-weather gatherings like backyard cookouts, potlucks, or simply relaxing out by the lake or beach. Passionfruit Mango has the right mix of the two fruits to create a balanced flavor, while Citrus Tamarind is noted for its bold citrus taste. Ripe Watermelon is on the sweeter end of the spectrum and is complemented by a slight twist of lime, and Hibiscus Lime has the perfect balance of floral and honey notes that go down easy.

And of course, aside from unique flavors, these drinks have "the crisp, refreshing taste that Topo Chico Hard Seltzer is known for," said Joy Ghosh, vice president of marketing for the above premium flavor portfolio at Molson Coors Beverage.

How to enjoy these refreshing new flavors

Topo Chico Aguas Frescas Hard Seltzers are all 4% alcohol by volume and 100 calories apiece. All four fizzy and zesty flavors are now available in stores in select states and should be enjoyed by people who are over 21 years old. You can buy the slim cans in variety packs of 12, allowing you to sample as many of these new flavors as you would like. This collection will now join the ranks of Topo Chico's other sparkling alcoholic beverages, including the Signature Margarita and Tropical Pineapple Hard Seltzers.

You can enjoy these refreshing canned drinks as they are, or dress them up as you see fit. The Passionfruit Mango or Citrus Tamarind flavors may make a nice addition to one of your favorite spritzy brunch cocktails, or you could decide to add in the Ripe Watermelon or Hibiscus Lime to create your own variation of a Pimm's Cup cocktail
