Dunkin' And Frankford Candy Created A Limited-Time Chocolate Line

Dunkin' is best known for its coffee. That's not a difficult statement to back up given that Dunkin' claims to sell nearly 2 billion cups of coffee per year from upwards of 12,000 restaurants around the globe. But in recent years, it has also become increasingly well-known for its collaborations, which not only draw attention to signature offerings like coffee and donuts but also, according to Insider, are designed to expand the brand's reach and attract younger customers.

One of Dunkin's most famous collabs in recent years has been with social media influencer Charli D'Amelio. According to People, the TikTok icon has teamed up with Dunkin' to create two specialty coffee drinks: "The Charli" and "The Charli Cold Foam." But Dunkin' has also collaborated with cosmetics company e.l.f. on a limited edition makeup collection, per Business Wire, and partnered with children's clothing specialist Carter on a limited-edition apparel line for Mother's Day this year (via Dunkin's website). For the past five years, Dunkin' has also worked with Boston-based Harpoon Brewery on a Box O' Beer collection featuring cans of coffee and donut-themed beer (via a news release).

For those who love Dunkin's fun and often eclectic collaborations, we've got good news: A new limited edition collection has just been announced, as Dunkin's has teamed up with Frankford Candy on a one-of-a-kind line of chocolate candies.

Dunkin's holiday candies are back

Dunkin's Box O' Beer with Harpoon Brewery is for adults only. Dunkin's Box O' Chocolates collaboration with confectioner Frankford Candy, on the other hand, will appeal to those of all ages. The two companies teamed up in 2021, and are doing so again this year on a new line of chocolates, according to a recent press release. The packaging may look familiar to long-time Dunkin fans, as the Box O' Chocolates was patterned on the brand's classic box for munchkin donut hole treats. The next boxes, however, will showcase a dozen different chocolates – all in the shape of donuts, naturally – with three signature flavors: Boston creme, brownie batter, and chocolate creme.

As with most Dunkin' collaborations, the Box O' Chocolates is only available for a limited time, and is intended as a specialty item for the holiday season, notes the press release. The boxes will sell for a recommended price of $6.99 at stores nationwide; notably, at CVS, Five Below, Kroger, Publix, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Walmart locations. They'll also be sold online via Amazon and the Frankford Candy website.

When Dunkin' and Frankford Candy collaborated in 2021, per Business Wire, it was on two Hot Chocolate Bomb varieties. Well, the flavors have changed for 2022, the latest press release confirms, but the Hot Chocolate Bombs are definitely back. This year, the options include a Dunkin' Dunkaccino and a Dunkin' Spicy. Both boast Belgian chocolate-covered marshmallows and can be found at stores around the country.
