These boozy treats are packed with spiced rum, pecans, walnuts, orange zest and smoked sea salt for a chewy sweet that’s quite addictive. Just be careful not to overindulge, or you'll start feeling more than a sugar high.
The orange and smoked salt play perfectly off the spiced rum; however, you can adjust the flavors to your liking. Other citrus zests, like grapefruit or Meyer lemon, would work well. And instead of smoked salt, you can swap in 1 teaspoon of kosher salt and ½ teaspoon of the spice of your choice, such as ground cinnamon or cardamom.
