The Cutest Doughnuts On Instagram

Instagram is paradise for dessert lovers (or torture, depending on how you look at it). Beautiful baked goods are hard to avoid, and if you're as fond of fondant as we are, and relish royal icing like we do, your feed is likely brimming with cakes and cookies that look almost too pretty to eat. This week, our gaze is fixated on the most adorable doughnuts we've ever seen.

Melbourne-based baker Vickie Liu makes some of the cutest desserts around, all available for your viewing pleasure on her 164K-deep Instagram account. While Liu bakes heart-melting cookie look-alikes—like this bacon, egg and toast combo—it's her doughnuts that are really catching our eye. Her creations include animal-inspired doughnuts that make us feel like kids again and gorgeous floral ones, too.

The panda doughnuts might be our favorites, but she also totally won us over when she made Totoro-themed doughnuts. (If you don't know My Neighbor Totoro, prepare for your heart to explode after checking out the classic, Japanese animated film.)

Doughnuts don't have to be pretty to make us swoon, but when they look as good as these, it doesn't hurt.
