Feeling tired but can't be bothered to brew a cup of joe? If you're trying to get your caffeine fix without taking a trip to your local coffee shop, you may be at a loss for how to get the energy you need. Luckily, there are several caffeinated snack products on the market to give you energy when you need it the most. Whether you want something that you can ingest in an instant or you prefer a treat that tastes amazing, we've got you covered with some of our favorite caffeine-infused products on the market.

Of course, if you're sensitive to caffeine, you may want to pass up on these snacks — some of them pack an impressive amount of the stuff into every bite. It's important to check the caffeine content before you take a bite. And even if you fall in love with how these treats taste, you definitely don't want to overdo it and eat more than you really should. As long as you proceed with caution, though, these caffeine-infused snacks are sure to hit the spot.

Viter Energy

Let's talk about a product that does double duty. Viter Energy doesn't just provide you with a boost of caffeine — it'll also freshen your breath at the same time. What's not to love about that? We tried the caffeinated mints, and we were instant fans. First of all, they have a lower dose of caffeine than many of the other products on this list: Two mints equal one cup of coffee. This allows you to enjoy just a bit of caffeine without overdoing it.

These mints are available in different flavors, including wintergreen, spearmint, and peppermint. In all honesty, most of them tasted really similar, which is why this product comes in last place in our ranking. There's not much going on here that's all that interesting flavor-wise, unfortunately. We love that this treat is so useful, and we're planning on keeping these stashed in our bags for some time to come, but we're not too crazy about the bland, minty flavors.

Jesse's WakeUp!

If you want to enjoy a whole snack and several coffees in one go, we've got just what you need: Jesse's WakeUp! bars. These chocolate-covered rice crisp bars have creamy, luscious chocolate and a crispy, crunchy center that makes you crave every bite more and more. In fact, it may just be one of our favorite chocolate bars on the market — at least when it comes to flavor. But this product takes things a step further because it actually contains the equivalent of three shots of espresso. That could wake you up even if you haven't slept in a full 24.

A word of warning here, though: These bars are delicious, so they're easy to slam back in just a few bites. But you should know that they are really, really strong. If you're not absolutely falling over from exhaustion, you may want to start with a third or half of a bar to see how it affects you — you don't want to feel ill from eating too much caffeine. We ate a whole bar, and it was definitely panic attack fuel, which is why this product doesn't rank higher on our list. But for those who need to wake up in a hurry and aren't too sensitive to caffeine, this may just be your new go-to breakfast bar.

GummiShot

What if you just want to get that caffeine in your system and get on with your day? In that case, it's time to take a GummiShot. No, they're not actual shots — rather, they're small gummy candies that contain 75 milligrams of caffeine each, and that's definitely enough to get your day off on an energetic foot. Flavors like Valencia orange and elderberry offer a fun, fruity taste, but since these things are so small, you can chomp them a few times and then wash them down with water if you aren't a fan of the taste. We like these because they're small, they're portable, and they're easy to eat when you're on the go and you just need to get some caffeine into your system.

You'll get three gummies in each pouch, which means you can customize how much caffeine you want to eat in one go. Double up if you're feeling pretty tired, or take all three at once if you really need some get-up-and-go. The flavors aren't groundbreaking here, and we wouldn't choose these things over any normal snack when it comes to taste. They're uncomplicated, but they're little more than caffeine pills.

B Great Focus Shot

What should you do if you want to get some caffeine into your system but you don't want a cup of coffee and you don't feel like eating anything either? In that case, you should turn to B Great's Focus Shot. This shot boasts caffeine to help you get going, but it also contains 15 milligrams of CBD. CBD is an active ingredient in cannabis, but just to be clear, it does not get you high, so it's safe to take when you're at work or you need to be on your A-game. Rather, we found that it offers much-needed energy while keeping us calm at the same time. And what's not to love about that?

If you're looking for a delicious snack, though, you should search elsewhere. The flavor here is nothing to get excited about, and since it's offered in a shot form, it's gone in no time at all. You could add it to a fruit smoothie if you want to dilute it a bit, but we don't think it offers much in the way of flavor. For those who are worried about getting too anxious from a caffeine snack, this CBD product may be just what you're looking for. Otherwise, there are better caffeine-infused options out there for you to try.

Beast Energy Cookie

For those who can't get enough baked goods in their lives, the Beast Energy Cookie is definitely the way to go when you're looking for a solid dose of caffeine. There's so much to love about these cookies. First of all, they're rich, chewy, and overall just a delicious treat. Even if they weren't infused with caffeine, we'd probably buy these in bulk. Plus, there are flavors for everyone. If you're a diehard chocolate lover, you have to opt for the chocolate brownie. If you want to stick to the classics, go for the chocolate chip. And when you want a snack in the morning, the oatmeal raisin may just be a fave.

These cookies boast 180 milligrams of caffeine, which is certainly enough to give you plenty of energy. Again, if you're sensitive to the stuff, you may want to start with just a half of a cookie. They also contain 10 grams of protein, so you don't have to feel like you're being overly indulgent when you grab one first thing in the morning. Our only problem with these is the fact they're so dense — they don't taste like your average cookie right out of the jar. They're quick, easy, and convenient ... but we'd rather just have a normal cookie and a coffee on the side.

Kopiko Coffee Candy

Another treat that's from far outside the U.S. is Kopiko coffee candy. The item hails from Indonesia, but this is another snack that you can find online if you're willing to wait a few days for it to be delivered. This candy tastes like coffee, which is good news if you actually like the stuff but just don't have access to a coffee pot and some beans. And since you can stash these candies in your bag to enjoy anytime, you never have to go without your essential caffeine fix.

When you first pop one of these in your mouth, you'll immediately realize how creamy it is — that's probably thanks to the butter that finds its way into the ingredient list. There are two flavors of this candy: coffee and cappuccino. If you go with the coffee flavor, you'll need to eat about four to five candies to get the equivalent amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee. However, if you're going for the cappuccino variety instead, you'll get that much caffeine in just two pieces.

So, why doesn't this option rank higher on our list? It's tasty, but it's so small, it's not much of a real snack — there are better choices available if you're looking for something to nosh on.

Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans

Now, we come to a classic. One of the most essential caffeine-infused snacks of all time? Chocolate-covered espresso beans. And luckily, Trader Joe's has us covered, with a dark chocolate version. These coffee bits are coated in a generous amount of dark chocolate, which makes every bite an intensely flavored treat. The combo of coffee and dark chocolate is a match made in heaven, especially if you like a chocolate pastry with your morning coffee. We think this snack is a great idea because you can just eat a few beans if you're going for the taste, or you can indulge in a handful of the things if you want a burst of energy.

You'll find these things among the other candy options at Trader Joe's, but just make sure you pay close attention to the label. We almost grabbed the dark chocolate-covered almonds instead. They're also good, but they won't give you the caffeine fix you're looking for. These are nice and basic — nothing super exciting but delicious nonetheless.

Sho-Ka-Kola

You may not be able to find Sho-Ka-Kola on store shelves in the U.S., but luckily, you can order this German candy online. We're so, so grateful for that because this is one of the most interesting caffeine-infused snacks we've ever encountered. If you like dark chocolate, this is likely to be a hit. The chocolate is dark and bitter but in the best possible way. For all those who hate super-sweet chocolate, this stuff is pure gold. Add to that a slight coffee flavor, and you'll see why this is one of our favorite options on this list. The chocolate itself is kind of dry and crumbly (but still ultra smooth), so maybe don't eat it over your favorite white pants.

When you purchase Sho-Ka-Kola, you'll notice that it comes in a round tin. Inside the tin, the chocolates are separated into pre-portioned wedges, which should help you avoid eating too much at one time. Plus, you can keep the tin for other uses later. Time to give this tasty German chocolate a try.

Awake Caffeinated Chocolate

We absolutely love Awake caffeinated chocolate because it's just so, so delicious. You would never be able to tell that this candy had caffeine in it if you didn't read the packaging. The chocolate is ultra-smooth. Though it is on the sweeter side, it doesn't have that overwhelming sweetness to it that makes some chocolate unpalatable. Rather, it balances that sweetness with a gentle bitter note that makes every bite appetizing. Plus, the dosing is perfect: Every chocolate has the equivalent caffeine of half of a coffee.

We also love that this brand offers a few different flavors. The plain dark chocolate is nice and creamy, but our favorite has to be the almond sea salt dark chocolate. The little bits of almonds offer just the right amount of crunch, and the salt balances that sweetness perfectly. This is the perfect snack to keep on hand if you're a chocolate lover at heart.

Numa

Do you love the taste of coffee but just can't be bothered to make some at home or even run to a coffee shop to grab a cup? No worries. We love Numa's coffee candy so much because it tastes just like a latte. The best part? It contains as much caffeine as a single shot of espresso. As far as we're concerned, that's the perfect amount, as it provides you enough energy to take on your day without giving you the jitters.

This taffy is pretty sticky, but not so much so that it will stick to your teeth after you finish the candy. But because it's so chewy, it's not something you can eat super quickly. Rather, you'll have to really savor every bite. Eat it all at once or leave half for later when you need more energy again. Plus, since this candy is so small, you can easily throw a few in your bag and indulge whenever you're feeling groggy. It's no wonder this is our favorite of all the caffeine-infused snacks we tried.
