Dunkin' Revealed A Sweet New Cold Brew Flavor Just In Time For Summer

Regular coffee might be enough to get you through winter, but once the days get longer and the temperature rises, it's cold brew season. If anyone knows this it's Dunkin'. It's probably the reason they officially marked May 25 as Iced Coffee Day to kick off the season of iced coffee and cold brew drinks. This Summer they have a new cold brew flavor coming to their more than 8,500 locations across the country along with several other exciting announcements.

One returning item is Dunkin's Everything Stuffed Bagel Minis. These savory snacks are bite-sized bagel balls topped with everything bagel seasoning and loaded with cream cheese filling. They were originally released back in August 2020 and received a rave review from The Impulsive Buy at the time. Now, they're back. Plain and chive & onion toppings are available as well. These will be joining Dunkin's other limited seasonal items Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese, Omelet Bites, and Cornbread Donut & Munchkins Donut Hole Treats.

Dunkin' introduces new Brown Sugar Cream Cold Brew

Of course, the star of the Dunkin's Summer lineup is their newest cold brew flavor. The Dunkin' Brown Sugar Cream cold brew is available starting today at all of Dunkin's locations. The drink is a combination of Dunkin's classic cold brew with "flavor notes of molasses, brown sugar and sweet cinnamon" topped with a new brown sugar-flavored cold foam, and finished off with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, per Dunkin's Press Release. This rich, and smooth new way to enjoy cold brew is just the latest addition to Dunkin's Summer lineup of refreshing drinks like their Butter Pecan Iced Coffee and Mango Pineapple Dunkin' Refresher. From now until July 19 all medium-sized cold brew drinks will also be available for only $3 at participating Dunkin's.

For the uninitiated, cold foam is a type of foamed milk that is made to top cold brew and other iced beverages. Starbucks first premiered the method way back in 2014, but it has since become a popular way to top off any iced coffee beverage (via Eater). It's similar to the standard frothed milk that tops cappuccinos and lattes, just cold and whipped up in a blender instead of using steam. Dunkin' introduced its first cold foam back in February 2021 and is expanding its lineup with this new Brown Sugar Cream cold foam (via Dunkin'). With a hot summer still ahead, there should be plenty of days that call for a cold treat like this.
