White Claw's New Line Takes Hard Lemonade To The Next Level
If you thought there was nothing better than an iced cold lemonade on a hot day, add hard seltzer to the equation and think again. Sending shockwaves through the community of hard lemonade fans, White Claw has just unveiled a zesty new product: White Claw Hard Seltzer REFRSHR Lemonade. A pioneer in creating lighter cocktail options, the brand is constantly dreaming up ways to excite consumers — and this lemonade-inspired seltzer is no exception. With a subtly citrus punch, White Claw's new line takes hard lemonade to the next level.
In a statement, Chief Marketing Officer of White Claw Hard Seltzer USA, John Shea, explains that "with the launch of REFRSHR, we're taking an entirely new and different approach to Lemonade, in a uniquely White Claw way, over-delivering on flavor while being incredibly sessionable."
Sporting a fresh look, the REFRSHR Lemonade boasts a funky striped can. But, it will also offer four fresh flavors, reports Cision. Limón with a hint of Calamansi, Blood Orange with a hint of Black Raspberry, Blackberry with a hint of Red Cherry, and Strawberry with a hint of Kiwi are the uniquely refreshing flavors that you can expect to see hitting retailer shelves. But while these citrusy seltzers live up to their name, they aren't mouth-puckering tart (nor are they as sickeningly sweet) like typical hard lemonades, notes Thrillist.
While Claw has undergone years of innovation
Skyrocketing in popularity since its debut in 2016, White Claw is currently the leading hard seltzer brand in America, according to Business Insider. While the initial launch was modest, they've managed to expand their line with a variety of flavors (most recently, pineapple) and styles like high alcohol seltzers, iced tea seltzers, and now, lemonade seltzers (via White Claw).
Crafted using White Claw's BrewPure process, the canned cocktails are made with seltzer water, an alcohol base, and delicate fruit flavors as explained by VinePair. With just 100 calories and 5% alcohol per can, it's a hard feat to resist White Claw, especially when paired with warmer weather.
While the best variety of White Claw remains purely subjective, the punchy new line of hard lemonade is challenging this idea. Promising the same subtly of a White Claw with a lemon-forward twist, the REFRSHR might just be the drink of the summer!
