Mill Valley Beerworks

A spiritual cousin to Abbot's Cellar, Mill Valley Beerworks is rethinking 2008's gastropub trend: It's more a brewpub and bistro, in the best sense of both words. The brewmasters aren't contenting themselves with middling renditions of IPAs and stouts, but are staying on the forefront with beers like Scribe Saison, brewed with Scribe chardonnay grapes and wild yeasts. David Wilcox's food is more in line with what's being served at Range and Frances than spruced-up dude food.
